Fish contains essential proteins and is best eaten fresh. Salmon, mackerel and herring are especially beneficial, but avoid fish that has been smoked or canned in brine.

Avocado, bananas, bread, caffeine, chocolate, cow’s milk products, lentils, mushrooms, oranges, peanuts, salt, spinach, sugar and tomatoes should not be eaten but that still leaves a good variety of available foods when you embark upon detoxification of the body using a colon cleansing diet.
