Your doctor will then do a series of tests, to determine whether you have any type of illness or disease. This is called a general check up. These types of checkups are recommended to be done at least twice a year.

Taking Popular Menopausal Drugs Can Double Risks of Breast Cancer
The Women’s Health Initiative, which was responsible for conducting the federal clinical tests on estrogen and progestin pills, to determine if taking these drugs heightens the risk of contracting different breast cancers, came back with results that were rather astounding. Their outcome translated into this: taking estrogen and progestin pills over a period of one year or longer, or under any prolonged usages, ultimately will increase the risk of contracting breast cancer twofold. The panel experts also concluded that the risk of contracting breast cancer returned to the normal roughly two years after the patient discontinued usages of the hormonal therapy drugs.

Smoking Could Lead to Cancer
Smoking is the cause of several kinds of cancer. This includes lung, mouth, throat, stomach, bladder and colon cancer.

A carcinogen called Benzpyrene which is found in the cigarette smoke damage the genes in your body and can cause cancerous growth. The chemicals and toxins that is derived from the smoke of the cigarettes encourages the lung tissues to develop cancerous cells.
There are two types of tumors which are benign or malignant tumor. Benign tumors are not dangerous unless they are very large. Benign tumors grow slowly over time and do not spread to other tissues in the body. Malignant tumors are the type of tumors that are cancerous. It can spread to other parts of the body. Malignant tumors can cause death by reproducing erratically and destroying the surrounding tissues and spreading to other organs in the body.
